2017 Term 2 Parents’ Open EQ Class: The Secrets of Sustainable Success

You may have heard that in some families, the child confidently and happily begins to learn music. Music is supposed to be an excellent tool, not a burden, to nurture a child’s characters. Unfortunately, without knowing, parents and teachers become forceful and demanding. In the end the child would do everything to avoid practicing music unless the parents intervene.

Home becomes a battlefield, in which both the child and mother engages a war of music practice. In some cases, the more the children are forced to learn music, the worse the characters have become, to an extend that this approach destroys the child’s love of music and the opportunities for happiness.

This same approach also occurs in other extracurricular activities or tutorials. Children become demotivated about their homework and studies.

If we speak to other parents around us, we will find that this is a common tragedy! Our advice to you is that please do not force your child to learn music or to attend tutoring classes. But if your child is still young, and you must get children to learn music or extracurricular activities, then please do not repeat those tragedies. Please follow us.
